Boat Yard CIX
Here are a couple of pictures of my salon door. I got my threshold installed, and Woody and I got the salon door hung. It fit really well and I just have to do some minor adjustments and install the striker plate and some weather stripping and it will be done.
Here are a couple of pictures of what I'm doing on the fly bridge. To the left is a picture showing the two panels I have made to cover the holes that the engine instruments were mounted in. To the right is a picture of my ships wheel showing how it obscures the panels. The holes on top of the dash is where I will mount the new instrument panel.
I'm still working on my fly bridge instrument panel. In the picture to the left you can see the frame for the panel installed on the dash. I had to raise the panel about an inch to provide enough clearance below it for the wiring. To the right is a picture of the panel installed on the frame. The picture below shows the panel opened up so I can complete the wiring of the instruments.
I started working on my swim platform. Here are a couple pictures of the side supports for the platform on the port and starboard sides of the hull. This is the last of the construction project on the outside of the boat. Once this is completed, I can move back to finishing the inside.
To the left is a picture of the support extending past the transom on the port side. To the right is a picture of the start of the framework for the platform.
