    Fitting the stem to the frames. To the right the stem is fit, glued and clamped in place.

 

 

 

 

    This picture shows the bracing of the stem to the building form. When I start bending the longitudinal members around the frames to the stem it has to stay aligned with the centerline of the boat so it needs to be very well braced so it doesn't move.

    To the right is a picture of the notches in the frames for the keel. That comes next.

 

 

 

    These are the two forward keel planks. You can see the taper at the forward end to match the width of the stem.

    To the right is the first layer of the forward keel plank in place butted against the notch in the stem.
